Lights, Camera, FASHION!

So…what were YOU doing on the evening of September 15?  If it was anything besides living it up at Urban Chic’s REVOLUTION, we guarantee that you weren’t having as good a time as we were!  Our third annual fashion show fundraiser to benefit Baltimore’s American Visionary Art Museum was a fab night of amazing style, delicious food and drink, great entertainment, and nonstop photo ops, as you’ll see below!  Not to pat ourselves on the back or anything (ok, well maybe a little), but with the help of STYLE magazine, Putting on the Ritz, and CoverGirl, we put on a pretty awesome show. Although it won’t be nearly as good as being there was, take a photo tour of this unforgettable night (stopping once or twice to kick yourself for not buying tickets) and then mark your calendars because we’re already planning how to top this next year!

Amazing decor thanks to the lovely Cate Buscher of Putting on the Ritz and her friends at Perkins Productions and American Furniture Rentals!

Backstage, our gorgeous models got glam!

The next Zoolander, fan favorite Aaron vogues for the camera before his big moment.

The ladies of Kobi Salon made our models’ hair look incredible!

If you’re going to make an appearance at Urban Chic’s fashion show, you BETTER look this good!

We were so lucky to snag some of our very favorite Baltimore restaurants to host tasting stations for our hungry guests!  The Capital Grille, RA Sushi, The Oceanaire Seafood Room, Talara, Lebanese Taverna, Kali’s, Sweet Bakery, and Charm City Cakes all delighted partygoers with yummy treats.

If you wanted to see the REVOLUTION in style…you went in with your friends and bought a super-sweet lounge! The very best seats in the house!

Our beautiful owner, Lindsay, greeting guests (with a special appearance by Urban Chic heiress Emerson!)

Band theVIPS totally rocked the house!

We may be a little biased, but Sarah Fleischer of 98 Rock is one of our very favorite models!

Beautiful Ricci in an Alice and Olivia dress and Vince sweater.

Ricci is wearing: Alice & Olivia, Ashby Wrap Dress in Painter Print, $368; Vince, Cacoon Sweater in Nutmeg, $295

Ean (manager of our fave Annapolis restaurant, Paladar’s Latin Kitchen and Rum Bar) moonlights as a model!

Ean is wearing: Joes Jean, Rocker Jean in Wyatt, $174; Obey, Windbreaker in Black, $115; Obey, Industries Tee in Heather Grey, $39

Can you believe that model Lauren is only 14 years old?  She’s destined for the catwalks of New York and Paris!

Lauren is wearing: Joie, Ashanti Dress in Aqua Sea, $268; BB Dakota, Ace Sweater in Overcast, $106

Wow, this night had EVERYTHING–including a proposal!  Model Jason asks a lovely guest for her hand in marriage.

At the end of the show, all of our models walked the catwalk one final time to tons of applause–they definitely earned it!

Guests loved our Facial Plastic SurgiCenter-sponsored photo booth (especially after a drink or two!)

World’s most stylish mom and daughter!  Could they be any cuter? (I mean really).

The Urban Chic team worked looooong hours to make this fashion show happen, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t have time to look great while doing it!

The wonderful Buscher family (minus little Chase, who isn’t quite old enough for a fashion show–maybe next year!)

Hmmm…do we have a new model on our hands for Urban Chic’s FIFTEENTH annual fashion show?

Wow–all we can say is a huge thank you to the many people who made the show happen!  It was a truly special night, and we can’t wait for next year!

XOXO,
J & K
